Aims and Objectives of the Programme
Assess a candidate’s ability to use essential Word
Processing skills to produce standard documents accurately,
efficiently. Create, edit, and amend layout of documents.
Spreadsheet skills and Database Application will help
students in their work and accounting.
Contents
Operating the functions of a keyboard and computer. Learn and
understand about the software and hardware of a computer.
Gaining typing skills, Proof Reading / Accuracy skills,
Calculations, Storing information. Understanding computer
jargon and speech.
Learning Methods
During the 12 week Course, one subject covered per week,
there are group discussions and group assignments. Exercises
are given every week. Students are given Exam preparation
skills. Exercises and Tasks are given according to the
students individual ability.
Assessment
Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate the knowledge
and skills listed above. The accurate input of text, the
presentation of specified layouts and formats, and the
ability to complete the assignment must be shown Tasks and
exercises should be present in a legible manner.
After the Course..
Candidates will achieve a Pitman Qualification. Candidates
will have basis IT Skills and knowledge for recreational and
employable purposes.
